Progress

As many of you know, our house has been in project mode for FAR TOO LONG! It started with the porch last April and has yet to stop, or have anything completed. However, that is about to change, hopefully by this weekend! Our original plan was that Baby Girl and Big Sis would share a room, love each other to death and be the Best of Friends. So far, none of that has come into play. And so began the room project upstairs.

We hired Tudor Remodeling (small plug for the Brother in Law) and took it a step at a time, much slower than I would prefer, but patience is not my virtue. Jeff and some friends tore everything out, cut a hole in the side of our house...make that two holes, installed a beautiful new window, and a HV/AC unit. David put in two closets and a doorway that is not only made for anorexics and hung the drywall. The paint went up on Saturday and Sunday and trim went down on Monday. The beautiful carpet was laid this afternoon!

It seems that things are looking up and if we have our way with it, Baby Girl will be in her room this weekend. We will have to sleep train her into her crib, but we will pray ourselves through that. The point is she will have a beautiful new room and we couldn't be more excited!
