My First Day of School By Big Sister Moore

Today was my first day of school. I felt healthy! I wore a dress and for breakfast I ate cereal. After that, I was taken to school by Mommy. My teacher's name is Miss Kroutil. My friend named Lila is in my class. The first thing we did in school today was play. Then we played puppets. The part of the day I liked best was when we do puppets. But I did not like, hmmm...I liked EVERYTHING. When it was time to go home, I felt hungry because I wanted to build. Tomorrow I will paint. This is a brief summary of Big Sis' first day of preschool. The bold words are her answers to an activity they sent home with her. She started last week and has loved every minute of it!
Yesterday, on our way home, we were talking about her day. I asked her if she got to be in charge of anything. To explain, each day the children are assigned different responsibilities and I was trying to figure out if she had her turn yet. She said she was in charge of clean up...and "I was in charge of all the friends!" Hmmm...sounds like we've got the boss of the bunch all figured out!
