There were some milestones in Baby Girl's world this summer as well. I wanted her to have her own little space for updates. She is about 14 lbs now and still in the 75% for her heights...WHAT???! She is sweet as can be, loves her Big Sis and laughs at her all the time in the car! She had some fun firsts this summer, one being the girls first bath together! It's so fun, but Big Sis has to have her "swimming pool bubble bath" after Baby Girl is finished.

Not only is she now enjoying her exersaucer, she had her first foods in there.

Early in the summer, she took her first nap in her crib. She had been in her cradle/our bed up to that point. It was just a few days later that she moved to her room with her Big Sis on a full time basis.

In July our family headed to Meremec State Park. I took her table seat. She wasn't too fond of it, but Big Sis LOVED sitting next to her, as did the Tudor girls. There was quite a battle over who was going to sit by her each meal. Must be rough to be so popular so early!!

She's now on foods. I started her on cereal at 4 months. It was early, but she is ALWAYS trying to steal food! :) So, now she's up to two meals a day and on fruits and oatmeal. She LOVES her food...as you can see!
In other news, she now has two teeth on the bottom, she rolls everywhere, and does quite a bit of yoga. She has mastered the downward facing dog position as she tries to use it to get to whatever is on the floor. Fortunately, she moves backwards from her target, which gives us time to realize what tiny things might be on the floor!!!! We're also working on sitting up on her own. I thought purchasing a Bumbo Seat would aid in this progression, but being the acrobat that she is, she arches her back and almost does a backflip out of the darn thing!
She is about the happiest baby around. It doesn't take much to make her whole face light up!
