Jeff's latest harvest consisted of chili rejano peppers and jalapenos. He was so excited considering these chilies are his FAVORITE entree at El Maguey. So, despite how ill all these smells are making me, I agreed to let him make a meal of them. He followed a recipe he found on the Internet and created a masterpiece for his mouth! I only wish I was able to add to his enjoyment by not gagging during prep and actually tasting half the stuff he has made! :) Maybe next year!

i would love that recipe! i have some peppers and dont know what to do with them besides make salsa.
Ooo! Yummy. Wish I could've been there to taste. What's the recipe...how'd they turn out? Duh. I guess good, since he ate them all himself!
just for a minute when I initially looked at the picture I thought you were blogging about fried bugs or something. Those stems looked like grasshopper legs at first. :o)
