Back Tracking

Well, it's been quite a while since I've updated those of you that check this. I'm going to give you the highlights of the last month!

The first week of September, our Baby Girl started school. It's a wonderful Parent's Day Out program at a local church. She goes every Thursday from 9-3. They do different activities each week, play outside, have music, lunch and a nap! She could hardly contain herself this first day. She dragged her backpack around all morning waiting to leave. It's so fun each week to let her talk about what she's going to do and hear her ask every Thursday afternoon is she can "Please go back to school"! I'm so glad we are blessed enough to be able to send her!

In mid-September, Forrest Park held their annual Balloon race. The night before, they set out all the balloons and have a "Balloon Glow". We headed down on the Metro Link, which Baby Girl loved, but when we got to the glow, she was not as thrilled! We met up with the Blooms for a bit, but after a light dinner and a few balloons, we headed back home. Baby Girl still talks about going next year and how she won't whine or cover her ears! :)

On Labor Day we met up with the Tudors and Wageners for a little time at Cliff Cave Park. The kids loved climbing around near the big cave, which unfortunately, has been completely de-faced. Baby Girl loves any time she can get w/ her cousins!
I just added this picture because I think it's hilarious. We stopped in at my parents house on Saturday afternoon to visit w/ old friends. Baby Girl was having a great time playing downstairs. She made a trip all the way up w/ all these beeds and her mis-matched high heels! She stood off to the side silently until we noticed her. It was pretty entertaining.
