If you don't know me well, you may not know that I ADORE my Dad!!! He set a high standard for men in my life...lucky me, I found Jeff to match that standard. Anyway, my Dad and I have been best friends all of my life. I'm equally blessed by the fact that he owns his own business. Not only did this business provide income for me for about a year, but it also allows him the ability to take off work and do very special things like go speak to Big Sis' class. They bring in special speakers once a month and since I think my Dad is so great, I figure a class of 3 & 4 year olds would as well. Lucky for Big Sis it was also the day they celebrated her birthday at school!!! She was so excited.
Papa came dressed in his full dress uniform and brought pictures, maps and his shadow box to explain what he did for almost 30 years of his life. He did an awesome job and the kids loved hearing about their friends Papa that worked on airplanes!!! He also shared some embarrassing stories and pictures of her Mama.
