Thanksgiving 2007

This Thanksgiving was a new one for our family...our first major holiday w/o Jeff's Mom. We started the day w/ his family at Aunt Kathy's house. It was a nice little celebration w/ great food and conversation. The family was so supportive and really rallied around each of us. Needless to say, I was not prepared for how hard this time of year truly would be, but thank goodness for good food and family!

Next we headed to my family. They had already eaten the meal w/ a few visitors, but we arrived just in time for dessert. Mara & Adde enjoyed cozying up to the fire w/ Papa

Somehow, Heather and I thought it would be a fun and easy idea to dress all the kids in matching jammies for a sweet picture! Needless to say, the 17 year old male in the family was not so gung-ho (you wouldn't know it by this picture, but he put up quite a fight). Two of the three 5 year olds don't enjoy pics. so much and the two 2 year olds were in a word, OVER-STIMULATED, by this time! This was about as good as it got!

Next year will be another year w/ newness as we will have Baby Girl #2 in tow! Here's to new and happy memories next year! :)
