Backyard Harvest

Can you believe all these vibrant colors and tastes came from our little back yard in the county? This was the year of the garden for Jeff and he had GREAT success! We get about 2-3 eggs a day, about 5 large tomatoes and dozens of cherry tomatoes as well as bell peppers (which just started to fully grow), jalapenos and several other species of spicy peppers. It was so fun to watch our baby girl go out and learn what ripe means and help Jeff gather the "harvest" each day! Can't wait to see what next year holds!

Why is it that home grown tomatoes always look and taste so much better than store bought, even if you buy the "home grown" or "hot house" tomatoes...I need a garden. Looks delicious!
